A Camp-Resort On The Quiet Side Of The Smokies

We are the newest campground in East Tennessee, just 11 miles form the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains. Misty River Cabins & RV Resort is located on 40 beautiful acres of flat land in the Smoky Mountains with 2000 feet on the "Little River," with a view of mountains on one side and the river on the other. The only word to describe it is "Extraordinary."

We are located in Walland, TN, on the "Quiet Side of the Smokies" between Townsend & Maryville just off of Hwy 321. Misty River got its name from an old moonshiner who had a cabin there on the river. He said, when he made his brew from the water in the river and sampled some of it, the river would look all misty to him and the name stuck. The moonshine stills are long gone, but the river is still just as beautiful as ever
